Tour of Quito and Visit the Teleferico: "Quito from the Sky"

LTE-QDT002: City Tour (Teleférico)

A great way to hit the highlights of Quito; you will visit the historical center, the charismatic Guápulo, and get a terrific view of the city from the city’s highest look-out point. You will enjoy historic plazas, buildings, and churches that display a fascinating mixture of Spanish and indigenous architecture.

Itinerary

We will visit the charming Guápulo, located on the western hillside of Quito, and in the historical centre we will enjoy colonial architecture, legends, and learn about the Inca and pre-Inca importance of the area. On Plaza San Francisco, a trade spot long before the arrival of the Spaniards, we will visit the Tianguez Art Gallery.

We may head up to the Panecillo (“winged virgin”) look out, or head even higher up on the slopes of the Pichincha Volcano with help of an aerial cableway.
