Detailed Itinerary (4 Days)
Day 1. Quito: Transfer Airport => Hotel. Accommodation
Day 2. Quito City Tour: We pick you up at mid-morning and head down to Quito’s historical district. During our time in the historical district, we will have the chance to observe several beautiful churches, the presidential and archbishop palaces, the cathedral, the Jesuit church Compañia de Jesus (one of the most beautiful churches in the world), and the San Francisco church, the first building of importance constructed by the Spanish. We will then visit and art gallery and the Panecillo Hill (winged virgin) lookout. In the afternoon, there is a visit to the middle of the world monument and the solar museum at the Equator line. Overnight at your selected hotel.

Day 3. Quito: Transfer out to airport for flight to the Galapagos Islands. Your Galapagos cruise or tour can be booked through Latin Trails, please contact us or check our Galapagos tour planner for options.

Day 4. Quito: Transfer in from airport to hotel / or assistance in the airport to take a return flight.
Highlights
Quito’s Historical City Centre Colonial plazas, buildings and churches display a fascinating mixture of Spanish and indigenous styles. The city was the first place in the world to be designated an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978.
Mitad del Mundo Here you can stand on the equator! There is a large monument with an ethnographic museum, stores for shopping, and restaurants. HOWEVER, modern GPS technology shows that the actual equator line is 240m away from the area, where you will find the Intiñan Museum.
