Bolivia´s Pantanal: El Tumbador Ecolodge

LTBSC007 Bolivia's Pantanal, El Tumbador ecolodge
4 days, any day, semi - private services
Sightseeing: The Pantanal region is located between the Amazon region and the "Cerrado", where its main characteristic is its dense vegetation; the flora is a luxuriant show of colors; the animals keep themselves isolated in small ecological niches, and the birds, usually migratory species, search for lower water and temperatures during the high tide season (Dec/Jan/Feb/Mar).
In an intermediate season (Apr/May/Jun), nature provides a large quantity of birds that start to return to the Pantanal, to enjoy the hot but mild temperature.
During the dry season (Jul/Aug/Sep), the days are extremely hot, evenings are cold, and different species of mammals and alligators are everywhere.
The Pantanal starts to flood again around October, November and December, which are months of heavy summer rainstorms and high temperatures, continuing the migration process of the birds and mammals.
