Day 1 : Iquitos
Your Amazon adventure begins in Iquitos, a vibrant city surrounded by lush rainforest and accessible only by air or river. The airport will send you to your hotel, where you can unwind while taking in the tropical surroundings before your cruise. Spend your free time at night by visiting the waterfront area or trying Peruvian-Amazonian food. The overnight stay serves as an ideal starting point for jungle exploration because it enables travelers to rest before their incredible Amazon River expedition.

Day 2 : Iquitos, Amazon River
After breakfast, our staff will pick you up to take you to the dock for your cruise departure. The route includes a panoramic city tour, which reveals the attractive features of this Amazonian city. Once aboard, settle into your suite and sip a refreshing cocktail on the observation deck as the journey begins. The region will be introduced to you through Naturalist guides who will explain the itinerary and geographical features, and ecological systems. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner highlighting Amazonian flavors, followed by stargazing as the ship sails deeper into the rainforest.

The presentation about Amazonian philosophy will continue after lunch when the group returns to the boat. The village of San Regis offers visitors a chance to meet with a local shaman who will present his knowledge about rainforest healing plants and traditional rituals, and daily life in the forest. The Pacaya Samiria Reserve offers its visitors the chance to enjoy a picnic lunch while experiencing one of its most intact natural areas. Later, head to Yanaquillo for a kayaking session and swim in the calm black waters.
